We All Scream For Ice Cream!

Mormor sent the boys some ice cream money -- so it didn't take much convincing to take a trip to Baskin Robbins!

We all have our favorites -- Mom and Sam love chocolate, Dad likes Butter Pecan and Zak goes for vanilla with sprinkles.

Open House

Sam's school held their annual Open House -- and we were there for all the fun!

We were able to see some of the projects their class had worked on during the year, walk through the first grade classrooms and meet the teachers for next year and go to the Book Fair.

The highlight of the evening was seeing what first grade will be like -- and it looks pretty cool!

Big Fish

Sam started swim lessons again -- this time the goal was to actually be able to swim (for a short distance) independently.

Sam can hold his breathe for long time and is getting really good at floating on his back and on his front. We're looking forward to practicing his new skills this summer!

Giving Two Wheels A Try!

Zak wanted to take off his training wheels and give it a try -- so we did.

He's not big on paying attention to where he's going, so when his head turns to look at something, his handlebars go the same way. But he's doing pretty good for not even being 3 years old yet!

Zak rides to the park with his training wheels on, then Matthew takes them off so he can practice a little, then the training wheels go back on for the ride home.

By the end of the summer -- I predict everyone in our house is on two wheels!

Teacher Appreciation

It's Teacher Appreciation Week and Sam's class is doing something everyday for Mrs. Hennigan -- just little things to let her know how much we appreciate her!

All the kids were supposed to bring in a handmade thank you card on Monday.

Sam did it all by himself!

I think Mrs. Hennigan was a little surprised when kids started handing her cards. I think she was really surprised when all the kids brought her a flower today!

We're so thankful for Sam's teacher!
