A Day at the County Fair

The boys have never been to the County Fair before -- so we decided to take them!

The llamas were very interesting!

It might be hard to see -- but the boys are standing
in front of a huge bull! They even got to pet him!

There was a really cool fire engine exhibit - there was equipment from as far back as the mid-1800's. They had a fire box (the precursor to smoke detectors) which we have read about but never actually seen before.

fair food -- the boys picked pizza!

We got to see a little circus act -- it was great!

We learned he's better at putting dishes
in the cupboard than spinning them on a stick!

"Driving" a car together was fun!

A train ride rounded out their time on the rides.

Taking a break to watch "Mutton Bustin" -- that's three
and four year olds trying to ride a sheep. Pretty funny, but
I'm not sure I'd let my kids do it!

anywhere -- but especially to the fair!

The Cousins Are Coming!

A few of our cousins stopped by for a little visit before they headed down to the Oregon Coast. The kids had fun playing together, visiting Matthew at the Fire Station and going to a car show.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

This summer we wanted to take the boys to their first Mariners game -- and it was a perfect day!

We drove up in the morning and met Poppy and Grammie at Safeco Field.

Hot dogs were enjoyed by all!

The boys had their gloves -- just in case.
(Highly unlikely that they would
be needed -- we were on the 300 level!)

It was a picture perfect day in Seattle!

We had so much fun -- you couldn't ask for a better day -- spent time with Poppy and Grammie, it was sunny and the Mariners won the game!

Lake Tahoe...

We spent a great week in Lake Tahoe with the entire Jensen family. We had so much fun and took so many pictures. It ends up that we have 1600 pictures to sort through -- and we just haven't finished doing that yet.

Jumpin' July 4th!

Our annual 4th of July celebration with the neighbors.

Friends...hot dogs...bounce house...pachinko...
pop-its...sparklers...big fireworks!

A perfect day -- the kids has a blast! Sam stayed up until 10:30pm watching fireworks -- he couldn't believe how big and loud they were!

Definitely one of their favorite days of the year!

Stepping Stones

Matthew's done a great job working on the backyard this summer -- but we had a spot that needed a little something special. So the boys made stepping stones!

It was so easy and the boys thought it was great fun.

They added hand prints, painted rocks, a penny from the year they were born and marbles. A great addition to the garden!
